Teacher Appreciation Lunch
AES/PTO Food Drive 2018
Fall is finally upon us and that means it is time for AES' annual canned food drive benefiting North Fulton Community Charities.
This year's food drive is scheduled for the week prior to the Thanksgiving break: Monday, November 12th - Friday, November16th. A flyer identifying NFCC's most needed items will be sent home with students.
Our goal is to collect at least 2300 canned food and non-perishable items during the drive. A few parent volunteers are also needed each morning of the drive to help count, sort, and tally items collected.
If you are available and willing to help, please sign-up here.
Spirit Night at Zaxby’s
Join fellow AES families at Zaxby’s on Old Milton Parkway, Monday, November 26th for Spirit Night. Starting at 5:00pm, whether you dine in or carry out, take a night off cooking and help support AES! A portion of the proceeds will go to benefit our school.

Join the PTO!
By joining the PTO as a family member, staff or community partner and making a donation, you help us meet our school's needs that are outside the scope of the budget.
The AES PTO is proud to have been able to:
Resurface Basket Ball Courts - Purchase Classroom Computers - Provide Extra Grants & Supplies to Teachers - Purchase Classroom Libraries - Provide Lunch & Treats for Staff
We also make a difference by purchasing food for students who would otherwise not have enough to eat during the holiday breaks, buying school supplies, and paying for field trips. Our students love the book fair, so we make sure to purchase books for those students who normally would not be able to.
These are just a few examples of the many things PTO is able to do with your help!
Contributing to the PTO truly makes a difference and puts a smile on children's faces!
When you go a step further and volunteer to help with events—or join our board— you set a fine example for our students to follow, and greatly encourage our teachers and staff.
If you have questions about becoming a member of the PTO, please contact Alison Crain at email@example.com.
DO YOU WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT HOW YOU CAN GET INVOLVED IN VOLUNTEERING FOR EVENTS?
The PTO strives to support the students, parents and education at Alpharetta Elementary School by promoting a sense of community through fundraisers, events and give-back programs.
Click on each event to find out more.
All of these activities add in a positive way to the AES experience for all of us. The PTO plans, organizes, staffs and operate dozens of activities each year. It takes the continued commitment of a lot of people to make all of the activities a reality.
Please consider volunteering to help with one or two of the activities listed below. By volunteering you will be helping the PTO, the school, your child and yourself. None of the activities gets done without PTO volunteers like you. Each activity requires a team effort for success and anytime you can give is great!
Please contact Stephanie Scher at firstname.lastname@example.org to volunteer.
This website is the primary source of communication with the school community, and we hope you take full advantage of our website and create an account.
If you already have a Membership Toolkit account with another organization, you can use the same log-in here. If you have any questions about your account with Membership Toolkit please contact Erin Hannaford at email@example.com.
Volunteering with our PTO is one of the best ways that parents can support the students and staff at our school. Thanks for volunteering!
Please make sure to have registered with Fulton County as a volunteer. Click here to access this.
